Five-star recruit Mitchell Robinson announced via Twitter that he was de-committing from WKU. However, in a press conference on Tuesday morning Head Coach Rick Stansbury explained that Robinson is still committed to the Hilltoppers.
“Talked to his dad, there’s nothing to it,” Stansbury said. “He said somebody hacked in the account. So that’s what we were told. I haven’t talked to the kid, but the dad knows what’s going on. We don’t see no problems. He signed, so he can’t de-commit. His dad said there’s no concerns.”
Robinson took to Twitter at 12:54 Tuesday morning and said, “After careful consideration, I have decided to DECOMMIT from the University of Western Kentucky and explore my options this only happens once.
