On the football field, Brown became a star for Warren East High School. He was a four-star recruit ranked as the state’s No. 2 prospect in the Class of 2015. A full scholarship from Kentucky followed.
Brown was a contributor the last two seasons for the Wildcats, notching 62 tackles over 22 games for the Southeastern Conference program.
So Brown transferred this offseason from UK to WKU. The team officially announced his addition to the roster Friday, adding that the 6-foot-2, 215-pound defender is eligible to play right away.
Brown will take the field this fall as a redshirt junior.
