Explosive WKU offense draws pledge from Christian Co. WR Catlett

Keyron Catlett attended Western Kentucky’s game against Miami (Ohio) last year and loved what he saw from coach Jeff Brohm’s Hilltopper offense.

WKU posted 569 yards in that Sept. 26 game, 464 of which came through the air. Nine different Toppers caught passes in the 56-14 WKU win.

“You just know that anybody can get the ball at any time,” Catlett told the Daily News on Sunday. “I just love it.”

Catlett committed Saturday to play for that offense. The Christian County High School wide receiver received a scholarship offer Saturday afternoon at a WKU football camp and pledged later that day to play for the Hilltoppers.
