Doughthy, Noble named at WKU's Athletes of the Year

Western Kentucky announced Wednesday that football’s Brandon Doughty and women’s basketball’s Kendall Noble have been named WKU’s Athletes of the Year for 2015-16.

Doughty and Noble each helped lead their teams to successful seasons and each came away with the honor of being named the Conference Player of the Year in their respective sports.

Doughty became the first back-to-back winner of Conference USA's Most Valuable Player honors and led the Hilltoppers to their first Associated Press Top 25 ranking and, arguably, the greatest season in program history.
