Emmanuel Dasor’s school-record performance in the 60-meter dash highlighted Western Kentucky’s weekend at Vanderbilt’s Commodore Invitational in Nashville.
The Hilltoppers claimed the top two spots in the event as Dasor won with a time of 6.68 seconds. Senior Ja’Karyus Redwine finished second and tied a personal record of 6.71 seconds.
Jonathan Hayden set a personal record in the 60-meter hurdles and finished fourth with a time of 8.03 seconds. The 4x400 meter relay team of Redwine, Dasor, Ventavius Sears and Michael Songore finished in second with a time of 3:09.84.
Freshman Keenon Laine finished sixth in the long jump with a personal-record jump of 6.
