Darrell-Hicks and Zuberer are playing this summer for the Southern Ohio Copperheads based in Athens, Ohio. The all-star game is scheduled for July 17 in Cincinnati.
Zuberer is batting .287 as the designated hitter. Darrell-Hicks is undefeated as a pitcher with a 2.16 ERA and is averaging a league-leading 1 1/2 strikeouts per inning. He was named the starting pitcher for the all-star game.
Darrell-Hicks is a Bowling Green native and South Warren High School graduate. He appeared in 20 games last season for WKU, posting a 1-0 record and 3.74 ERA over 21 2/3 innings.
