In Western Kentucky’s case, team chemistry off the court translates to trust on the court, which has helped the Lady Toppers earn two wins in Conference USA – two wins which presented a pair of unique challenges.
“I think we’ve grown a lot since the season started,” WKU freshman Sherry Porter said. “These last games we’ve been growing together and just trusting each other on defense. If someone drives past me, I trust my next teammate on the floor to help me out and we’ve been playing together.”
