STILLWATER, Okla. – Dwight Coleby was in the middle of a postgame answer Wednesday, explaining how Western Kentucky used its sixth-place pick preseason Conference USA men's basketball poll as motivation for the season.
Coleby’s only a year removed from posting 1.7 points per game as a redshirt junior at Kansas. He transferred to WKU last summer hoping to find a program where he could make a bigger impact, and that’s exactly what he provided Wednesday.
The graduate senior forward totaled 16 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks as the No. 4 seed Hilltoppers beat No. 2 seed Oklahoma State 92-84 at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
