Western Kentucky is dipping back into Georgia in the early stages of coach Mike Sanford’s third recruiting class.
Offensive lineman Joshua Black (Stephenson High School, Stone Mountain, Ga.) committed Wednesday to the Hilltoppers’ Class of 2019. He became WKU’s third pledge of the class.
Black was recruited by defensive line coach Jimmy Lindsey, who led WKU’s charge into Georgia for the program’s 2017 and ’18 classes.
Safety Kyle Bailey, nickelback Antwon Kincade, defensive end DeAngelo Malone and wide receiver Jacquez Sloan – all Georgia natives from the Class of 2017 – saw playing time as freshmen last season for the Hilltoppers.
