Running back Gino Appleberry (Creekside High School, Fairburn, Ga.) tweeted Friday afternoon that he’d committed to the Hilltoppers.
Appleberry is WKU’s 19th Class of 2017 commit and eighth from the state of Georgia, joining Spencer Gaddis, Tre Leslie, Jayden Patterson, Deporess Schletty, Nazir Sy, Lichon Terrell and Kawan Williams.
Appleberry is the first Class of 2017 running back to announce a pledge to the Toppers. He was recruited by WKU defensive line coach Jimmy Lindsey.
