Defensive tackle Lichon Terrell (Callaway High School, Hogansville, Ga.) tweeted that he committed to the Hilltopper football program. The 6-foot-2, 260-pound prospect was recruited by WKU defensive line coach Jimmy Lindsey.
Terrell is rated a three-star recruit by 247 Sports Composite and ranked No. 1,222 overall in the Class of 2018, No. 86 among defensive tackles in the class and No. 119 among Georgians in the class.
Terrell chose WKU over a collection of other FBS offers. His other reported offers were Appalachian State, Army, Ball State, Charlotte, Connecticut, East Carolina, Georgia State, Iowa State, Marshall, Massachusetts, Middle Tennessee, Mississippi State, Navy, New Mexico, Ohio, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Troy, Tulane and FCS schools Jacksonville State, Mercer and Morgan State.
