The Toppers fell by one point, 67-66, to Marshall on March 10 in the 2018 C-USA Tournament title game. They finished the year with 27 wins and made a run to the National Invitation Tournament semifinals.
Hollingsworth, Josh Anderson and Lamonte Bearden highlight returning players off that squad. Murray, Dalano Banton, Charles Bassey and Jared Savage are among the new faces who’ll wear a WKU uniform in 2018-19 for the first time.
This is the first time WKU has been picked to win its conference since the program was projected to win the Sun Belt in 2013-14.
