The night belonged to the Browns, and Tashia took full advantage with a career-high 38 points in WKU’s 83-61 rout over Charlotte on Friday night.
It also appeared a real possibility Brown was on her way to reaching the 40-point mark not touched since Alexis Govan did it in 2012.
Brown scored four points in the last 16 minutes of regulation and checked out of the game with 1:54 left alongside Ivy Brown to a standing ovation from the 2,459 in attendance.
She came out of the locker room on fire and hit every shot attempt, including her first three 3-pointers, to reach 14 points, then missed her last two shots to finish 5-for-7 from the field and 3-for-4 from behind the arc.
