Brohm lands 'probably the best special teams coach in the country' in Levine

Western Kentucky coach Jeff Brohm said he feels he hired "probably the best special teams coach in the country" in Tony Levine.

Levine, a former head coach at Houston and well-respected assistant before that, is the latest in a series of hires for the Hilltoppers that have Brohm feeling optimistic.

"I know I've taken my time and been very patient," said Brohm, sitting Wednesday between Levine and new quarterbacks coach Brian Brohm.

"Personally, I feel the hires I've made, especially these two right here, are slam-dunk, home-run hires that I couldn't be happier to have."

Levine, 43, will serve as tight ends coach and special teams coordinator for WKU after taking one season off from coaching.
