MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Following his performance at the 2016 Defense Soap & Flips Wrestling Southern Scuffle, sophomore Zeke Moisey has been named the West Virginia University Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.
No. 11/12 Moisey overcame a first-round loss to win seven straight matches and took third place on Saturday, Jan. 2 at McKenzie Arena in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Moisey posted six straight wins on Saturday, topping three ranked opponents during his comeback, including No. 15 Drew Templeman (Wyoming) and No. 19/20 Dalton Macri (Cornell).
