WVU women throttle Morgan State, 72-37

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Theresa Ekhelar’s career-high 15 rebounds and 11 points led West Virginia to a 72-37 win over Morgan State on Tuesday night in women’s basketball.

Naomi Davenport had 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting with seven rebounds and three blocks for the Mountaineers (7-2). Tynice Martin had 11 points and Katrina Pardee scored 10.

West Virginia held a 40-28 advantage in rebounding.

The Bears (1-11) shot 28.3 percent and were led by Adre’onia Coleman’s 14 points.
