WVU Tennis Falls to No. 30 TCU

Morgantown, W.Va.The West Virginia University women’s tennis team fell to No. 30 TCU on Friday, as the Mountaineers dropped a 4-0 decision at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

WVU (4-12, 0-6 Big 12) opened the match by conceding the doubles point, as TCU was able to best the Mountaineers in two of three contests. On the No. 3 court, TCU’s Seda Arantekin and Madison Tedford dropped WVU's Abigail Rosiello and Sofia Duran, 6-2, to open the match. Kaja Mrgole and Christina Jordan would then drop Carolina Wegner and Donika Bashota, 6-2, on the second court to even the doubles matches at one apiece.
