West Virginia baseball has quietly been putting together a good season in 2017. This weekend, though, they made some noise, taking two of three against No. 2 TCU.
The Mountaineers (21-13, 8-4) held leads in every game, but won the first and third games in walk-off fashion. The Horned Frogs (28-7, 9-3 Big 12) made a big comeback to win the middle game. This was the first time the teams had met since TCU beat WVU in the Big 12 title game last May.
This is the fifth series win in a row for WVU, which has won all four Big 12 series this season.
