Mike O’Laughlin, rising senior WR at Fenwick (IL), announced late Saturday night that he has committed to WVU.
O’Laughlin led the Friars to an 11-2 record before a controversial loss to Plainfield North in the Illinois 7A Semifinals.
The Mountaineers were one of six offers extended to O’Laughlin. The other schools were Ball State, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Miami (OH), and Western Michigan.

Other than being a wide receiver for Fenwick’s football team, he is also a power forward for the Friar basketball team.
