MORGANTOWN, W.Va – Junior Habiba Shaker and freshman Christina Jordan won the lone match of the day in doubles play at the 2016 Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championships, in Pacific Palisades, California, on October 2.
“I am happy that we had another chance to compete this morning,” assistant coach Emily Harman said. “The focus was on the process. Once again, today reinforced what we need to do to win and where we need to be more efficient.”
In the pre-qualifiers consolation round, the duo of Jordan and Shaker defeated Maeva Razakasoa and Julie Gerard of Long Beach State, 8-5.
