On Friday, WVU men's basketball dropped its full non-conference basketball schedule for the 2025-2026 season, which will be the program's first season under the leadership of new head coach Ross Hodge.
As a result of the Big 12 Conference returning to an 18-game in-conference schedule – as opposed to 20 games last season – the West Virginia Mountaineers will get to play 13 games against non-conference opponents this year, highlighted by five opponents from power conferences and nine home games. There are also no true away games on the schedule, though the Mountaineers will have to travel for a two-game holiday tournament and a pair of neutral-site contests.
