WVU-Kansas to kick at noon, Brown details script for bye week

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The Mountaineers have two full weeks to enjoy their 27-21 double overtime win over Baylor. WVU enters their second ‘bye week’ this fall. Neal Brown’s club struggled mightily on offense in the win but found the end zone twice in the two overtime sessions.

“We were fortunate to win,” Brown said on Monday’s Big 12 conference call. “I thought defensively we played at a really high level. I thought we flew around. I thought our defensive line was dominant at times.
