MORGANTOWN, W.Va.– Looking to build on a solid performance in last week’s season opening tournament in South Carolina, the West Virginia University golf team heads to Virginia to compete in the VCU Janney Shootout at the Country Club of Virginia in Richmond on Monday and Tuesday.
Alan Cooke, Max Sear, Etienne Papineau, Tristan Nicholls and Jon Ransone will represent the Mountaineers at the event, which is hosted by the VCU Rams. Big 12 foe Iowa State will be in attendance, while Virginia Tech, Iowa State, Maryland, East Carolina, Boston College, UNC Charlotte, James Madison, UNCG, George Washington, Old Dominion, Radford and Richmond will make up the field.
