Two more players were reported to be departing the WVU football program for the transfer portal on Wednesday night, bringing the total number set to leave the program to seven players in the past 48 hours and 36 total since the 2025 season ended.
The latest two Mountaineers to hit the portal both registered at least one start with the program. Quarterback Jaylen Henderson, who appeared in five games and started against Utah before being replaced by Khalil Wilkins at halftime, announced on Wednesday evening he will enter the portal and find new home for his remaining season of eligibility.
