WVU football set to lose former starting QB, several offensive depth pieces to portal

The West Virginia Mountaineers have seen their second wave of players announce their intent to enter the transfer portal in recent days after four players became the first to announce their intent to depart the program last weekend. And with this round of players, the Mountaineers have lost more depth across the offensive side off the ball, including one quarterback who started one game at the position this past season.

This group of players is headlined by redshirt freshman signal caller Khalil Wilkins, who announced on Thursday he plans to enter the portal once it opens.
