WVU football fans had to sit through the sixth loss of the season for their team as the Mountaineers dropped a close 23-17 loss to TCU. But the mood about the team among the fan base does seem to have improved after the loss.
West Virginia put up a good fight against TCU after struggling to do so through the first four games of Big 12 play. Things weren't perfect, obviously, and you don't want to put too much stock into a loss. But it's not hard to be excited to see this type of life from WVU just a week after many fans were writing off the season as a complete wash and Rodriguez was hoping the team had hit their low point for the season.
