WVU football dropped their third consecutive game on Friday night as they stumbled to a 38-24 loss to the No. 23 BYU Cougars in Provo, Utah. It's a game that seemed to show some improvement for the Mountaineers in certain facets of the game, but was still not sufficient enough for what WVU needs to do to be able to win games moving forward.
Mountaineer fans seem unsure of how to feel after the game against the Cougars. On one hand, it seems like a good chunk of the fan base seems to be writing off any hopes for further success for this team in 2025, and many are disgusted – or at least disappointed – with the effort being put forth by the Mountaineers.
