WVU football: Deshon Stoudemire has WVU in top 9

On his Twitter page Wednesday evening, Stoudemire released his top 9 schools. The junior in the Class of 2019 has WVU listed along with Auburn, South Carolina, Michigan State, Iowa State, Tennessee, Ohio State, Iowa State, Nebraska and Louisville.

Auburn was the first team to extend a Division I offer, but the WVU football team has as good a chance as any program to land Stoudemire. West Virginia’s stable passing offense should be the key selling point in this recruiting case.

Stoudemire won’t be playing with Will Grier at quarterback, but he will have the chance to watch him work this season.
