Barring some other catastrophe, Chris Chugunov was not going to see the field next season. He was called upon to replace Will Grier in two and a half games and the WVU football team lost each time out.
Chugunov did not play well and did not seem to improve from his first snap to his last snap. As WVU football coach Dana Hoglorsen addressed reporters on Wednesday, he said that Chugunov will graduate in May because he is a senior.
Although Chugunov has a fifth year of eligibility, he will opt out and move on from the WVU football team.
