WVU coordinator Tony Gibson concerned Worley ‘shorted himself’ couple million dollars

Calling cornerback Daryl Worley’s foray into the NFL draft a calculated risk, West Virginia defensive coordinator Tony Gibson calculation

“Daryl has qualities that he’ll have a successful career, but I just think he shorted himself a couple rounds and maybe a couple million dollars.”

Gibson, appearing on MetroNews “Talkline,” received a call from Worley on Sunday night as the Mountaineers were returning from their 43-42 win over Arizona State in the Cactus Bowl. Worley missed the bowl because of academic shortcomings but reportedly was on pace to be eligible this spring.
