MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team completed the first day of competition at the 2017 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field East Preliminary Round on Thursday, in Lexington, Kentucky.
On the first day of the East Prelims, sophomore Danique Bryan, redshirt sophomore Madelin Gardner and redshirt junior Maggie Drazba represented the Mountaineers at Kentucky’s Outdoor Track and Field Complex.
In the women’s long jump, Bryan placed 20th with a mark of 6.10 meters (20’-0 ¼”).
The first day concluded with the 10,000-meter run, as WVU’s Drazba finished 22nd with a time of 34:50.
