After losing to Oklahoma on Saturday (the Sooners took the season series against West Virginia), the Mountaineers quickly regrouped and made sure another Big 12 Conference opponent wouldn’t get the best of them at all this season.
On Feb. 2, WVU earned an 81-76 win over the Clyclones in Ames, Iowa. In Morgantown on Monday, WVU beat ISU by a score of 97-87.
“When we have the whole team healthy and we have everyone back, it’s hard to beat us because we have more depth and we can do what we want to do,” Jonathan Holton said.
