The Mountaineers welcomed Jamie Dixon and the Horned Frogs to the WVU Coliseum and kicked them back to Texas with a nice 82-66 victory. The win allowed the WVU basketball team to split the season series against TCU.
The Horned Frogs won by nine points in the first win and the Mountaineers seemed to have figured out some things since that game on Jan. 22. With the win, the WVU basketball team improved to 19-7 on the year.
To get to that 20th victory in the next game, West Virginia would have to beat Kansas on the road come Saturday.
