Contrary to popular belief, Saturday night may not be alright for for fighting. Or at least is wasn't ton this weekend for the West Virginia Mountaineers.
WVU basketball traveled for an in-state, neutral-site match-up with a non-conference Power 5 opponent in the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Saturday in Charleston, and to say things went poorly would be an understatement. The Mountaineers lost the third consecutive game against power conference competition, and did so without looking competiutive at all in the second half of action against Wake Forest.
The Mountaineers looked to have no semblance of an offensive groove, and their shooting – particularly from three-point range – was atrocious.
