The West Virginia baseball team won its first home series in Big 12 play thanks to double-digit strikeout performances, winning two of three against Kansas.
BJ Myers and Michael Grove combined for 22 strikeouts in the first two games of the series and gave up only one run to the Jayhawks (14-17, 4-5 Big 12). The Mountaineers (19-11, 6-3 Big 12) dropped the throwaway game on Sunday.
