WVU was down 4-0 in the sixth inning when Jackson Cramer mashed his eighth home run on the season to bring the Mountaineers within two.
Still 4-2 in the seventh, freshman Brandon White grounded into a bases-loaded fielders choice to plate a run. Later in the seventh with two outs, sophomore Kyle Gray ripped an RBI single into right to tie the game at four.
WVU’s furious comeback managed to send the game into extra innings, but Oklahoma erupted for three unanswered runs in the top half of the 10th inning to take the rubber match, 7-4.
