MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — It turns out wide receiver Dillon Spalding has not made his final appearance at Milan Puskar Stadium.
Spalding, who announced last week that he is transferring from West Virginia, has chosen to continue his college football career at James Madison. The Dukes will be in Morgantown for the season opener on Aug. 31.
Because James Madison is an FCS program, Spalding is eligible to play immediately. He has four years remaining.
Spalding is a redshirt freshman who sat out last season with an injury. He participated in spring practice with the Mountaineers, but was not a threat to crack the starting lineup this season.
