MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — As linemen hand-thrusted into the chests of their counterparts and practiced churning footwork, West Virginia assistant Joe Wickline barked at one gone rogue.

The father coaching up his son, Kelby. Wickline dressing down Wickline. That kind of straight-up interaction has repeated itself throughout camp, squashing any hint of favoritism.
“I was afraid we might be going back to how it was during pee-wee, like a Daddy-dearest kind of deal,” joked senior guard Kyle Bosch. “But Wick treats Kelby like any other lineman, and makes him earn everything.
