The West Virginia Mountaineer baseball team pulled off a huge upset this evening to kick off their series against the No. 3 ranked TCU Horned Frogs, thanks to a Ivan Gonzalez sacrifice fly that drove in Jimmy Gulusky for the winning run.
West Virginia carried a 4-2 lead into the top of the ninth inning, when I directed our own John Lowe to live stream the last outs for all of our readers to watch. I quickly began to regret that decision as the Horned Frogs tied it up when Dalton Brown scored on a wild pitch from Braden Zarbnisky.
