MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Week after week, month after month and year after year, Bill Snyder keeps churning out winning football teams.
He did it back in the 1990s. He did it in the early 2000s. He did it in the late 2000s and he’s still doing it today.
“Bill Snyder is a Hall of Fame coach,” West Virginia coach Dana Holgorsen said. “It doesn’t matter what their record is, it doesn’t matter what year you are talking about, he’s put together quality football teams for years and years.”
And the 74-year-old, soft-spoken, grandfatherly coach keeps winning football games with a strategy board that is nearly as old as he is.
