The West Virginia Mountaineers will open the 2018 season with one of their favorite road combinations of Blue/White/Blue. After loaing their first three games wearing this combination the Mountaineers have won two straight.
The first win was the most dramatic of the series, the 2015 Cactus Bowl win against the Arizona State Sun Devils. In a back and forth affair, former quarterback Skyler Howard threw a touchdown to David Sills to win the game 43-42.
