MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia will host Texas at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 5. The Big 12 announced the game time on Monday. The game will either be televised on ABC or ESPN, with the network announcement coming next week.
The Texas game is West Virginia’s homecoming game, as well as the annual “Stripe the Stadium” game. Fans in even-numbered sections are asked to wear blue, and fans in odd-numbered sections are asked to wear gold.
The Longhorns (3-1, 1-0 Big 12) and Mountaineers (3-1, 1-0) will both enter the game coming off of a bye week.
