Starters Daryl Worley and Jovon Durante are among four West Virginia players who will miss the Mountaineers' bowl game due to academic issues.
Coach Dana Holgorsen said Worley, an All-Big 12 first-team selection at cornerback, was late turning in classwork and missed the NCAA bowl certification deadline. Wide receiver Durante, defensive lineman Eric Kinsey and safety Kevin Williams were declared academically ineligible for the Motel 6 Cactus Bowl on Saturday against Arizona State.
