West Virginia Football Releases Latest Depth Chart, Major Change In Secondary

The Mountaineers released their latest depth chart on Wednesday morning and it featured a major change in the secondary.

On Wednesday morning, the West Virginia Mountaineers released an updated football depth chart for the first time since August 3. For the most part, everything stayed the same, but there was one major shakeup in the secondary. Redshirt senior Antonio Crawford has surpassed Nana Kyeremeh at the starting corner spot opposite of Rasul Douglas.

In addition to Crawford moving into the projected starting lineup, Toyous Avery surpassed Khairi Sharif as the backup to Dravon Askew-Henry at free safety, Mike Daniels and Maurice Fleming were added as third-string corners and Ricky Rogers and Marcus Simms switched positions as Rogers moved to third-string "X" receiver and Simms to the third-string "Z" receiver spot.
