It didn’t take long for West Virginia to gain its 14th commitment for the 2017 class. Within 72 hours of receiving an offer from WVU, defensive back Chris Hunt made it official on Twitter. Hunt is a tall (6’-1”) cornerback who already held offers from East Carolina and UNC-Charlotte, as well as drawing interest of Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Clemson.
Hunt plays very physical football with a willingness to tackle and support the run defense. This can be seen multiple times in his highlight package as he breaks down quickly and takes on a running back.
