West Virginia Drops Home Finale Against Oklahoma State

West Virginia was in it the whole game, but dropped a close contest to the Pokes, 20-13. Despite the defense holding Oklahoma State to roughly half their season scoring average plus holding Chuba Hubbard to one of his lowest ground totals of the season, struggles in the red zone prevented WVU from coming away with a victory in the home finale.

West Virginia had to settle for two fields goals in three trips to the red zone, including several failed attempts from inside the 1 yard line. This was par for the course with the rushing struggles of the Mountaineers on the day and the season.
