MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - What Mountaineer fans appreciated on the east side of Milan Puskar Stadium last year will now be enjoyed on the west side, starting with West Virginia’s season opener game against East Carolina on Saturday, Sept. 9.
“Our goal was to make the west side somewhat of a mirror image of the east side for our fans,” West Virginia University Director of Athletics Shane Lyons said.
The amount of additional space that has been created for Mountaineer fans attending home football games is truly impressive.
Also impressive are the number of toilets and urinals that have been added in the restrooms, the number of points of sale for fans wanting to get something to eat, the number of television monitors that have been added inside the concourse area, the increased ADA accessibility, as well as the graphical enhancements that have been added to the concourses.
