Former WVU quarterback Garrett Greene is putting himself in a prime position to make an NFL roster – and if he can pull it off, he'll be playing at a completely different position than in college.
Greene declared for the 2025 NFL Draft as a wide receiver, and while he went undrafted, he ended up signing a contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While few are able to successfully make the transition from starting college quarterback to NFL wideout, videos have been emerging from preseason practices for the Buccaneers that show that it's entirely possible that the Mountaineers actually had Greene lining up at the wrong position in college.
