Virginia Tech Just Announced Its Starting QB Against West Virginia

Virginia Tech head coach Justin Fuente just announced who will be starting for the Hokies against the West Virginia Mountaineers on September 3rd. Fuente named redshirt freshman Josh Jackson as his starting quarterback. According to the guys over at the Virginia Tech SB Nation site, Gobbler Nation, Jackson and current Philadelphia Eagle Jerod Evans were locked in a heated competition last year during fall camp. Evans wasn’t named the starting QB until a week before the season started.
