MORGANTOWN, W.Va.– Senior Kailey Utley of the West Virginia University women’s soccer team was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Scholar All-America Third Team today.
The honor is the first career award for the St. Louis, Missouri, native, and the first for the women’s soccer program since 2013. In total, 10 different student-athletes have earned 11 NSCAA Scholar All-America honors under 20-year coach Nikki Izzo-Brown.
A biology major set to graduate from WVU on Dec. 18, Utley boasts a 3.65 grade point average. She also was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team in November.
